The New Year normally brings about New Year’s Resolutions.
Resolutions which might include your inner being wanting to lose weight, eat healthy, spend more time with the family, work less and get organized.
Let’s take one at a time, getting organized, since January happens to be National Get Organized Month. Just a month? It seems that this should be much longer, more like a year or two, but we’ll work with it.
While I try to be meticulously organized (abject failure), sometimes it’s best just to have the objects in a place where you can find them, contain them, see them.
Purging doesn’t just happen during the “Spring Cleaning Season”, so to help with the stuff I was keeping as I cleaned out the closets, I decided to purchase storage containers. Containers that were see-through instead of cardboard-box-like. This way, I don’t have to pull everything out of the b
ox just to see what’s in it. I even don’t have to place labels on it. I can just look at the container from all sides.
So far, so good.
National Get Organized Month is off to a good start.
