Tips To Feeling Sexy And Confident

When I think of wanting to feel sexy, it doesn’t always end up with me rolling around with my guy. No. Sometimes I want

to feel sexy just to FEEL SEXY. To walk around with confidence knowing that I’m da bomb. And sure, at the end of the day, I’d like my man to think I’m all that and prove it to me by ripping off my clothes.

But…that’s the end of the day. And seriously, not every day. Well, not in my house.

I have hours to myself, going to lunch, writing at the kitchen table…WHATEVER. I don’t know if you’re anything like me but, I am not always looking or feeling my finest due to life events and it happens to wear on my confidence.

When I’m working in my pajamas or sweats with last nights make up smeared around my face and my hair literally looks like baby birds could come flying out of it…I’m not exactly feeling like the goddess of sexiness.

When I was researching ideas above and beyond my own, most of the advice given on feeling sexy was about luring your man into the bedroom. I don’t need to lure him into there, we happen to share the same bed. It’s our nighttime destination spot.

I was looking for ideas for us women to look and feel sexy even when it has nothing to do with a guy or sex. Sexy doesn’t always have to mean sex. To me, being sexy is feeling and living our maximum level of confidence and exuding it. Even if no one else is there to respond.

These are for us women.

* Get dressed. Sweats and pajamas don’t count unless you’re going to bed, working out or cleaning the house. OK, or going through car pool line. Get yourself dressed, throw on some make up and brush your hair. I sit taller and prouder when I’m working at the kitchen table if I’m dressed for the day.

• Strut your stuff. Walk with your shoulders down, chin up and chest slightly forward. Even if it’s just to walk to the bathroom.

• Get some color. Sit in the sun, don’t forget to use sunscreen. I ALWAYS feel better about myself when I’m slightly tanned and not the winter pasty white.

• Take a shower. Use scented soaps. Shave your parts that haven’t been shaved in days.

• EXERCISE. It’s proven to boost your sexy in more ways than one.
• Wear something naughty under your clothes. Even if you are the only one who knows about it.• Take a nice looooong bubble bath or a bath with oils.

• Invest in a sexy robe and matching underwear.

• Make your own mantra and live by it. Hone in your Stuart Smalley. You are sexy enough. You are confident enough. And gosh darn it you are hot enough.

Sexify yourself. Not for him. For you.
