Share The Love

Donating

During the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays is normally when charity organizations see their largest donations of the year. These two holidays are when people tradionally think of helping others in need of some type of help or assistance; be it food, clothing, money, companionship, deed. And, that’s wonderful, just wonderful. But, unfortunately need isn’t an annual thing.

On an average day many are need of help and assistance and all it takes is action on your part to help. So, to keep the good karma flowing, the community of Park Lane Apartments in Southfield, has decided to give Valentine’s Day a bigger bang.

Valentine’s Day is a day to show your love for someone you care about (but don’t forget the other 364 days). Park Lane is going to show its love for the community in need by having a “Share the Love” canned food drive.

Feel free to drop off canned goods to the office. These canned goods will then be donated to Forgotten Harvest, to help replenish their food bank.

For every 5 cans donated, you will be entered into a drawing to bring some good karma to you. Drive ends February 14th. Drawing for a $100 gift card, will be held February 15th.

Thank you for taking action, for helping.
