
I don’t know about anyone else on the planet but when I’m not feeling my optimal fit self, it makes my libido curl into fetal position and sleep. If I’m not feeling like I’m looking good it clothing, I’m certainly not thinking that sexy is my naked description. At all.
I’ve decided to commit to making exercise a habit. Because I want to feel like a horny teenage girl again. What’s wrong with that? Actually, my peak was when I was 35 so I want that libido back along with my teenage dancer body that I didn’t appreciate when I had.
I KNOW I can’t have the smooth, cellulite, stretch mark free body of my youth but gosh darn it, I’m going to AT LEAST bring my butt and boobs from up off the floor. Plus, get my sexy back on.
I need to do this for me.
Some important exercises to think about when getting your body and libido back into tip top shape are:
Cardio: To keep up in the sack, your pumper needs to be fit. 3-4 days per week of AT LEAST a half hour of some sort of aerobic exercise is key. Walk in place to Leslie Sansones walking videos. It’s a great alternative to treadmills or going outside.
Be Flexible: Yes, that’s right. You want to wow your man by being a gymnast in bed, or at least be able to keep your legs in the air, try yoga, pilates or any type of stretching. It helps keep the body limber.
I want muscle: Don’t forget to build muscle. You need it to go along with your new found flexibility so that you can hold those positions for longer and stronger. Work out with weights 2-3 days per week. PLUS, a benefit for women, working with weights fights off osteoporosis.
I’m exercising to fight to get my sexy back but also, I want to begin to try to prevent the hereditary heart disease that is in my family. I know, I’m so lucky.
If you can’t afford to buy a gym membership, buy workout videos. There is something for everyone. Or, there are some FABULOUS and FREE on-demand exercise videos, which I happen to be obsessed with, at the moment.
Or, put on your gym shoes and head outside for a nice walk, the weather is starting to turn, finally!
Just get up and get moving toward that hot, sexy you that you are craving.
Remember, sex and exercise have SO many health benefits. You get fit, burn calories, lose weight and feel great.
Both are fabulous for the mind, body and soul. Do it for yourself as well as for that hot little matching bra and undie set you’ve been holding off on buying.
