Going out for a bite to eat takes on a new meaning…
I love food, good food, not fast food. Food that takes time and talent to create. Are you with me here? One event that I’m truly sorry I won’t be able to attend is the Taste of Southfield.
On October 11th, at least 20 Southfield area restaurants will showcase their finest at the 7th Annual Taste of Southfield. The event will be held at the Southfield Town Center Atrium, from 5-8pm.
Attendees will get to sample specialties from top chefs and culinary artists from local Southfield restaurants and will be entertained with live jazz by renouned jazz artist Kimmie Horne.
Tickets for the event are just $20 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Southfield Chamber of Commerce and the Poetry, Pages & Scribes program that operates monthly through the Southfield Public Library, spotlighting promising poets, storytellers, musicians and writers.
