It’s pretty unusual for a pre-season football game to be sold out.
Even more unusual, the pre-season game features our own Detroit Lions, who unfortunately, just two short seasons ago did not fare too well. I like to show our sports teams as much love as possible, but in reality, the real draw was the visiting team, the New England Patriots with star quarterback, Tom Brady.
But Saturday night, the Lions, weren’t having any of that star-struck stuff. At least not to the point with glaze over their eyes. They were very focused in their 34-10 win over the Patriots. Hopefully, this win will send the Lions off to the regular season with good karma under their belts.
