With just over a week until the big game, you may be pondering a major menu to wow the crowd. If wings and a stack of pizza’s just won’t do it and spending a day in the kitchen just isn’t in the cards, there is another option.
Have your Super Bowl Party catered this year. It won’t cost a fortune and if you choose the right restaurant, your football fans will rave about the food. Clinton Township’s Lazybones Smokehouse, a great East Side barbecue joint, will be open and serving up big time portions for hungry fans to take home to the masses.
Here’s an idea of what’s on the menu:
- Pigskin Poppers – Think pork sausage stuffed full of pulled pork and wrapped in bacon and then smoked. Get them for $12 a dozen.
- 7 Layer BBQ Nacho Dip – $30 for a half-pan
- Pulled Pork Slider Tray – $50 for 50 sliders
- Or go for the whole Little Piggy option: One big slab of spare ribs, one whole smoked chicken, two pounds of rib tips, one quart of smoked beans, one quart of smoked slaw and 10 spicy smoked jumbo wings. Get it for $50.
Plan ahead – Lazybones will be open noon to 6 p.m on Sunday, Feb. 6. Get your orders in now. The restaurant is located at 43202 Garfield in Clinton Township. Call 586.247.7437. There is also a Roseville location at 27475 Groesbeck Highway.
