Some of the most joyful moments of the holiday season are experienced viewing the holiday light displays.

Holiday lights put up by homes and business’ really add a sparkle to the neighborhoods and city streets. It’s fun to drive around and see what fantastic view is just around the corner.

Some are fun, some are spectacular and some show the creativity of the season. Enjoyed by kids and adults, there’s still time to see more light displays before the holiday season ends.

The Wayne County Lightfest, a four mile length of holiday light displays, is reported to be the longest in the Midwest.

“Viewers will enter an enchanted world of snowflakes, colorful rainbows and candy canes.”

The Wayne County Lightfest, 7:00pm to 10pm, begins at Hines Drive and Merriman Roads, in Westland and ends December 31st.
