Plymouth is about to welcome a Cupcake Station

September 17, 2010

Get ready downtown Plymouth residents. Pure decadence is on it’s way. It takes the form of a tiny, perfect cake.

The Cupcake Station, which originated in Birmingham and has expanded to Ann Arbor, will open at 318 S. Main Street on Sept. 21. These little cakes come cute, compact and completely crafted from scratch.

Baked in tantalizing flavors like Chocolate Lovers, Boston Cream, Strawberry Delight, What’s Up Doc, Coconut Blitz, Cookies and Cream and Lemon Lust, they’ve thought of something for everyone’s tastebuds.

Sometimes it’s best to stick with simplicity. The Original is an all-time favorite – moist vanilla bean cake topped with milk chocolate frosting. Just delicious.

They’ve added wow-factor to the main menu too, though. Consider Simply Red, a red velvet cake with marshmallow inside and buttercream frosting, drizzled with chocolate. Every month there is a specialty flavor and The Cupcake Station Web site always takes suggestions for new flavor possibilities.

What’s your favorite cupcake flavor? Will you check out this sweet new local business?
