“Papa’s Knows Best” is the slogan of the best Pizzeria in Detroit, Michigan.
They have me eating out of the palms of their hands, literally. Not to be confused with the infamous Papa John’s franchise, Papa’s Pizza has been around for only ten years and is the most scrumptious pizza my taste buds have ever came into contact with. Papa’s also provides catering to the hungry masses. Their friendly and fast service makes my meal even more mouthwatering! Delivering to most of the city of Detroit, they have various locations with more sites in the works.
Papa’s menu caters to the vegetarian and carnivore alike. They have everything from barbecued ribs, to a variety of freshly prepared salads. I would reccomend the meat lovers, deep dish pizza, which comes in the shape of a square. It is absolutely yummy. It is piled high with pepperoni, ham, bacon, italian sausage and hamburger, [I would also top it off with extra cheese to accommodate for the plethora of meat]surrounded by a crust as tasty as the pizza itself.
My little sister recommends their cheesey bread. Topped with 100% mozzarella cheese, each bread stick is laced with gooey cheese and special spices. She also suggest taking a bite into a slice of their Oreo cheesecake which she describes as “crunchy and chocolatey”. My mom and younger sisters suggests trying one of their many subs or shrimp dinners. Their jumbo shrimp are one of my favorites on the menu as well. Dipped in a unique batter and fried until crispy, they are delicious even without cocktail sauce!
Papa’s has daily specials that will leave your stomach and wallet satisfied. If you dare to try anything off their bold and succulent menu, let me know about your experience. I wouldn’t have pizza any other way.
