Paragon residents living in or near Northville can kick off the weekend early beginning with a 3-Day Buy Michigan Now festival, taking over downtown streets tomorrow morning. It’s all about Mitten promotion and showing your support of Michigan-based businesses. Early-birds can check out the sidewalk sales, which will continue all day.
At 10:30 a.m. Friday a free yoga demonstration and class will be offered by the Center for Yoga at the Tom Holzer Ford Performance Patio. At noon Friday, Chef and Author Dawn Bause will demonstrate “How To Make Tasty Vegetables” in Northville Square.
Town Square will also house live performances all weekend, including a 7 p.m. performance by The Crutches on Friday. Head over to Center Street for acoustic entertainment, while you shop and dine. Visiting merchants will be onhand selling local goods, art and more. At Church Square, a Kids Zone is planned and will include arts and crafts, storytelling, special guests and more.
From 6-9 p.m. Northville will resume its First Fridays Art Walk, allowing visitors access to its growing art district, new exhibits and related events.
Buy Michigan Now runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday Aug. 6-7 and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 8 in Northville.
